Welcome to the UK Chapter of the Nashville
Songwriters Association International (NSAI).
The aim of the NSAI UK Chapter is to provide quality resources and courses to the UK Songwriter in order to provide them with the knowledge and tools needed to improve their
song-writing skills.
Your NSAI UK Coordinators are Jae

We understand that it will not always be possible for all UK songwriters to make it to the meetings,
seminars and workshops in London, therefore we encourage the use of the online tools provided through this website, i.e. the Forum, where, once registered, you can exchange thoughts and tips and collaborate with fellow songwriters.
NSAI members will be able to receive additional services, through us and the official US NSAI site (please see the "Join NSAI" page for more
details).
Established in 1967, the Nashville
Songwriters Association International (NSAI) is the world's largest
not-for-profit trade organization dedicated to serving songwriters of all genres
of music. We are your advocate, and we help you meet your dreams.
For serious aspiring songwriters, NSAI operates workshops in more than 100
cities throughout the U.S. and four other countries to help you further your
craft and understanding of the music business. Throughout the year, NSAI
presents several educational retreats, ranging from our Songwriter's Symposium
that features small group song evaluations with Music Row publishers to our Song
Camps program that features one-on-one evaluations with award-winning
professional songwriters. What's more, our unique Song Evaluation Service
provides NSAI members the opportunity to send in songs for verbal critiques from
professional, published songwriters a service unparalleled in feedback and
value!
For professional songwriters, NSAI serves as your advocate to protect your
pocketbook. In recent months, we have successfully argued a case before the U.S.
Supreme Court keeping an additional 20 years on the term of your copyrights, and
we have helped to stop a compulsory license bill saving millions in songwriter
royalties. Presently, NSAI is working to change antiquated tax laws that
unfairly impact songwriters' incomes. In addition, through NSAI's ongoing
ProSeries events, we provide information ranging from health insurance for
songwriters to recapturing your copyrights; plus we create song pitching and
networking opportunities by regularly hosting meetings with the A&R staffs
of major record labels.
"It all begins with a song."
